Brief

TEDx is an independently organized event under TED by NYUAD. I was asked to design its branding materials, which included, brochures, banners, posters, and web materials.

 

Concept

The theme of the year’s event was “Small Stories, Big Issues”. I decided to center the motif around soundwaves which mimic the frequencies of someone saying the phrase. The theme not only references the oral format of TEDx narratives but is meant to embrace the power of the human voice.  The theme of the event is oriented around the untold experiences of various individuals, and the significance of said stories. In this motif, I attempt to tie the importance of the voice through its physical manifestation: soundwaves.
