Stefon Diggs: I’m ‘not responsible’ for Trevon’s fiery posts on Bills turmoil

It’s been a tumultuous week for the Bills, and now Stefon Diggs is answering for posts from his own brother.

Trevon Diggs, Stefon’s brother and cornerback for the Cowboys, posted a few things on X on Monday as the Bills dropped a 24-22 game to the Broncos.

One of the posts seemed to allude to getting his brother out of Buffalo.

“Man 14 Gotta get up outta there,” Trevon wrote before adding another post that seemed to shade Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

“Let’s not forget, he didn’t start going off till bro got there,” Trevon wrote.

In a week that also included the firing of offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and Allen’s emotional response, it’s been a whirlwind few days in Buffalo.

And, on Thursday as the Bills prepare to take on the reeling Jets, Stefon addressed the controversial posts from his brother.

“I’m not responsible for how other people feel,” he told reporters. “Anybody in this room for that matter. A reporter, a player, even my own brother. I love my brother, and the space my brother is coming from is my family. You want to know how he feels, you gotta take it up with him.

“Putting me in a position — or me having a conversation with my brother, that’s in-house family rules. But for me, I can’t combat or answer all the questions as to why. … That’s something you’re going to have to ask my brother.”

Diggs also said he hasn’t discussed with his brother the incendiary posts.

“I can’t the questions as to why he feels [that way],” he said. “I haven’t had the personal conversation with him.

“Obviously, he’s coming from more of a fan perspective [watching from home]. But that is my family, so I handle my family with the utmost respect, and I hope that people treat it that way. So when people speak on my family, [I hope they] have a level of integrity as well. … Tread lightly when you’re talking about my family.”

The wideout leads the league with 73 catches while totaling 868 yards, but the Bills have sputtered to a 5-5 record as Allen has come under fire for his NFL-leading 11 interceptions.

While the Bills still rank eighth in the NFL in points per game (26.2), they made the change to install Joe Brady as interim offensive coordinator before the game against the Jets, who rank sixth in points allowed (19.1 per game).

Diggs said he’s ready for the changes.

“Joe Brady is a hell of a guy,” Diggs said. “Got a lot of respect for Ken Dorsey… Gotta flip the page.”
