‘The Show’ Episode 76: Michael Kay talks Yankees offseason, Brian Cashman

Will the Yankees have an aggressive offseason? Do they make minor moves?

Their TV voice, Michael Kay, joined Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman on “The Show” podcast to look ahead to their plans and react to what GM Brian Cashman said last week.

‘The Show’ Podcast with Joel Sherman & Jon Heyman:

  • MOST INTERESTING TEAMS THIS OFFSEASON: Jon has the Cubs, Dodgers and Giants. Joel has the Cubs, Red Sox and Giants.

Michael Kay Interview: Yankees TV voice, ESPN Radio NY host

  • CASHMAN: Did not mind him defending himself. The cursing wasn’t necessary. Yankees can silence the critics by having a big offseason, especially if they trade for Juan Soto. If the Yankees stayed healthy this year, they probably would have made the playoffs.
  • YANKEES FUTURE: What will they do this offseason? Will they make a splash?
  • CARLOS MENDOZA: He’s a great man. Doesn’t know what kind of manager he will be. Why didn’t David Stearns sit down with Buck Showalter and see if he was the guy?
