Ten years into the PAW Patrol franchise, the lovable rescue dogs have starred in more than 200 episodes, reaching about 350 million homes in nearly 180 countries and 30 different languages. On September 29, the hit kids' TV show will be reaching millions more with its second feature film, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
Ahead of its debut, Spin Master and Nickelodeon have released a line of rescue-themed toys taken straight from the big screen. Made with pre-schoolers in mind, the entire PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie toy line is suitable for children aged three and up.
PAW Patrol fans will love Chase's all-new Mighty Transforming Cruiser, a toy police car that extends to more than 15 inches long in "rescue mode." Clip the Chase action figure included into the driver's seat, and the car revs to life with synchronized flashing lights and exciting sound effects. Dressed in his blue uniform, Chase is ready for any adventure brought his way.
Chase isn't the only PAW Patrol member with a sweet new ride. In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Skye takes flight in a brand new Mighty Jet that also comes in toy form. Complete with 360-degree wing rotation, motion-activated lights, sound effects and projectile launchers, the 15-inch-long rescue plane makes it easy for kids to recreate their favorite missions from the new movie.
The toy line also includes smaller versions of the rescue vehicles featured in the film, including Zuma's hovercraft, Marshall's fire truck, Rubble's bulldozer and Rocky's recycling truck. Each 7-inch by 3-inch plastic toy comes with the corresponding pup dressed in their Mighty Movie uniform and is equipped with lights, sounds and special features unique to each pup's job. Priced at just $18 each, these Mighty Movie-themed vehicles are perfect gifts for kids and PAW Patrol fans shopping on a stricter budget.
Those looking to collect all of the PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie vehicles should upgrade their rescue adventures with the Aircraft Carrier HQ, a transforming command center that comes with a Chase action figure and Chase's police car. In action mode, the 37-inch-long toy ship features two separate vehicle launch ramps, two projectile launchers and space to store PAW Patrol action figures inside. For adventures on land, there's a Pup Squad Paw Patroller vehicle (which comes with a small Chase police car) that transforms into a ramp for small toy cars.
While the new PAW Patrol movie doesn't hit theaters until September 29, you can start shopping the new toy line at Amazon, Walmart and Target right now. If it's anything like the Barbie movie dolls, you've got to act fast because these limited-edition toys are expected to fly off the shelves once the film is released.
