Doctor reveals weird toilet position to help you poop when constipated

Pooping the wrong way could give you cancer, according to one doctor.

Daria Sadovskaya, 29, a nephrologist from Singapore, frequently shares her health knowledge on TikTok.

In a video with over 26 million views, the kidney expert shared with people a pooping position to combat constipation and keep their bodies healthy.

Footage captures her with her left leg crossed over her lap, resting her foot on her right thigh. She then turns her body to the left and looks behind her — as if she were stretching her hamstring.

“What to do if you’re constipated and can’t poop? Try this position, it will help you to poop fast,” read the caption on the video.

Constipation is more than annoying and painful, it can have a real impact on your health, the doctor explained.

“Constipation is an issue itself but it [using the wrong position] can also lead to hemorrhoids, anal fissures, urinary problems, even increases the risks of colorectal cancer,” Sadovskaya told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“In addition to all of the above, it can cause nutritional deficiencies, bowel dysfunction and even psychological issues,” she added, suggesting such conditions could pave the way for the proliferation of cancer.

She said the pooping hack she displays in the video is a “kind of self-massage, helping the stool to come out faster and easier.”

You could soon look back on this moment and wonder why you weren’t pooping like this all along.

The position helps with “light constipation” and is one thing you can do, in addition to eating healthy, to improve your pooping experience.

“As well as sitting in this position, you should increase your fiber intake, stay hydrated, exercise regularly, avoid caffeine and alcohol,” the doctor said.

Thousands of people commented below the video to thank the doctor for her useful toilet tip.

“I’m pooping rn and it worked bless ur soul,” someone wrote.

“I’m on the toilet rn and it’s lowkey working LMAOOO,” another said.
